Black Film Space | Proof of Concept Short Film Grant

We are elated to announce that @blackfilmspace is partnering again with @cliverd_ for another Proof of Concept Short Film Grant. Our grant will award $8,000 to one filmmaker creating a short (under 20 minutes/pages) designed as a teaser for a feature film.

Projects must meaningfully incorporate an element of nature—whether as a setting, character, theme, or narrative force. In addition to the grant, the selected filmmaker will have the option to shoot at a private estate in Jamaica, provided by cliveRd.

Submissions open April 21 at 12PM ET and close May 31 at 11:59PM ET.

$35 submission fee. Free for Black Film Space members.
